This is a trio of fruit themed mail art pieces I made.  The collage images are taken from various magazines and mail order catalogs.  It’s fun to incorporate food into mail art. I find a delicious looking piece of mail is an attention-getter.  Fruit themed mail feels rather natural for this Florida girl.

The “Orange you glad?” postcard pictures a lot of the delicious yellow and orange colored fruits we love to eat here in the South.  The “rooty tooty fruity” card is an artist trading card (2.5″ x 3.5″).  The green mesh background makes it feel like the fruits are inside a mesh produce bag.  The “Going up the apples and pears” postcard is named after an archaic cockney rhyming slang.  Apples and pears = stairs.
