Dear You-
Please take this short note as a token of a stranger’s sincere belief in you as a person. It’s so hard to define ourselves in life and even harder to redefine ourselves as life and circumstances change. Life is so adept at hampering our progress with doubts and confusion.
May you tap into the childlike compulsion to give things a go and ask questions later, especially when pursuing your fulfillment. May you embrace false tries, mistakes, and flops – but not attribute them to some failure in yourself.
There are people out there who want to see you succeed. Believe you will encounter people who will recognize your wonderful spirit. We tell our children we believe they should reach for the stars and they can be anything they want to be and then we forget that applies to us adults, too!
Exercise your bravery and believe in yourself even when it hurts.
– From Me
Listen to the MUSTN’TS, child,
Listen to the DON’TS
Listen to the SHOULDN’TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WONT’S
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me-
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.– Shel Silverstein
