Today is a beautiful day to honor mothers, motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.  May we all enjoy the opportunity today to not only appreciate the role our own mothers have played in our lives but to also express our gratitude to all the women who have enriched our lives with nurturing love, friendship, guidance and compassion.

Pictured are my cards created for Mother’s Day this year.  The “Rebecca” card is named for my own mommy. 🙂  The others are gifts for my sisters, grandmother, godmother, a couple very dear friends-who-are-like-family and two specially requested as gifts for a friend’s family members.
