These handmade paper collaged postcards seem fitting of the summer season. The European scenes on this fun trio of cards are all images rescued from cruise brochures I received in the mail. Torn paper scraps, washi tape and gel ink doodles embellish them.
I love the soft twilight scene on the pink card and I named it for one of my favorite words ‘vesper’, an archaic synonym for ‘twilight’. The “Nyhavn” card features a scene of the famous Nyhavn district in Copenhagen, Denmark. I especially love this card for the fishing boats pictured- I adore fishing villages and boats/ships. The purple card features a dreamy Mediterranean landscape, another of my favorites. Europe is so gorgeous and these Old World sorts of landscapes make for great collages.
